Eastwind Motel

This is my go-to spot when I’m working in Seattle or Tacoma. It’s conveniently located in Federal Way—just a short drive from I-5, with easy access to everything. The staff is fantastic—friendly, professional, and always welcoming. It honestly feels more like coming home than checking into a motel. The parking lot is well-lit and closely monitored, which I really appreciate. If someone wanders in after hours without ID on file, they’ll be called to the office over the loudspeaker—just one example of how seriously they take security. The rooms are always clean, quiet, and comfortable. As far as I can tell, no two rooms are exactly the same, that makes every check a bit more exciting. I've stayed nearly a dozen times and have yet to see two rooms with the exactly the same layout. With great rates, real hospitality, and a central location, this place is a true hidden gem.

Eastwind Motel has been home to us for about 4 months now and it has been a great place to stay. The owner is amazing and is a responsible and honest person. We’ve had no problem whatsoever. The owner makes sure property and rooms are clean and there is no ruckus from other tenants. We love that we feel safe here and don’t have to worry about our cars since owner is always on surveillance monitoring property. Owner & his maintenance guy are very accommodating, kind and helpful. They are very easy going people and easy to talk to . He cares about his tenants and has helped us out tremendously. Place Is quiet and comfortable. Room and bed are comfortable and clean. It’s a great place to stay overall .

Great motel, very affordable daily and offers weekly rate discounts. Great location, only 15 minute walk from the transit center and plenty of great restaurants all around. If you're looking for great affordable place in downtown Federal Way, I highly recommend this motel. 10 out of 10.

I've been staying here and I can say this is very outstanding. The manager here is very genuine. The manager has been very kind and watches out for me and my partner. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Great customer service as well!

I came across it heading to another place lol I was so tired I just stopped the ower was nice, he didn't have anything on the first floor, but he gave me a break and didn't try to jack up the prices. And that night the person next door was so loud I went to the office and complained he dealt with it right away thank you, and the next day he gave me another room and it was on the first floor thank you for caring I will tell others I know that's looking for extended stay

I had a great experience staying at Eastwind Motel in Federal Way. The room was clean, quiet, and surprisingly spacious—everything worked well, from the Wi-Fi to the hot water. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated how well-kept the entire property was. What really stood out to me was the staff. Super friendly and accommodating—made me feel welcome and taken care of throughout my stay. The location is also convenient, close to food spots, stores, and right off the main road, but still felt peaceful at night. For all those who are looking for a comfortable place to stay and is affordabe with an amazing staff, the Eastwind Motel on Pacific Hwy S in Federal Way is the most affordable as well as peaceful and quiet. The staff are very helpful and pleasant to deal with. My husband and I hope to extend our stay here due to the fact that they make us feel like family. The location is perfect if you use public transportation. We all have to bring something with us when we travel in life, warmth and human decency in general. Especially in a cost effective environment as the Eastwind Motel.
